Trip Away, Make No Stay

…Wow. And I thought January went fast.

Considering my garish lack of updates, it’s only fair to give my assurances that February passed quickly and without significant incident. My days have been spent at work, which is going well, while still awaiting the weekends on which I have been working on getting my photography site up. And now it is!

To be honest, I was thinking of faking some entries to make it look like the journal had some care in month two of this year, but this is better, I think.

I did go to a karaoke night with the pals, which was great even though Mark hardly sang at all! Like three lines of one song, that doesn’t count! But it was a fun night. And after church I’ve been doing fun things, like going to Jeff’s house and playing Tile Rummy on Candice’s team (sweet), and going to Brewsters with Dillon and Alexis and going to Moxies with Sammy while she was still in Midsummer Night’s Dream makeup.

Speaking of, I went to the play tonight. Holy crap. Best. Play. Ever. Honestly, it was… it was just fantastic. Casting was brilliant, costumes brilliant, music… I need that song they played at the end. I think I might like Shakespeare now.

And the issue there create, ever shall be fortunate.

Today was the first day of Lent, and I’m giving up pop and all carbonated beverages this year (and anything from a can, so no iced tea either!) It hasn’t been too bad so far… one day… but things will get tough when I get in the mood for needing a Dr. Pepper.
